 Selah Sports Line is designed and dedicated to promoting youth sports clubs and leagues based in Selah. We all know the challenges of working with the complexities of communicating, registering, scheduling, and funding a youth sport club. It is a very time consuming and intimidating process and without the thousands of hours of volunteer time from parents, coaches, and supporters, youth sports simply would not happen.
We know the difficulties of keeping these sports affordable while still available to the youth of our community. This is particularly true with today's gas prices, insurance, equipment, and travel expenses.
We also know how vital it is that businesses get recognition for the support they provide these programs. Most do so to reward the initiative of the individual or team and to provide community goodwill, as opposed a true advertising or marketing expenditure where they can see and measure a return on their investment.
In response to these needs, this Selah Sports Line website has four objectives:
- Assist the many volunteers, in organizing, communicating, registering, and scheduling.
- Make the fundraising more marketable and effective to both the club, league and team and to the business sponsor.
- Promote attendance and participation in youth sports and their fundraising activities.
- Provide a one-stop location for all information regarding youth sports in Selah
To further support these goals Selah Sports Line will:
 Provide a professionally developed website to post contact information, schedules, forms, sponsors, pictures, logos, fundraising information, etc. for each youth organization in Selah. Clubs, leagues and/or teams will be able to “own” a page on the Selah Sports Line website, which will be free to the club.
